Meet the Harrisburg University President
Eric D. Darr, Ph.D.
The Board of Trustees named Dr. Eric Darr President of Harrisburg University effective May 9, 2013. He previously served as interim president since July 1, 2012.
Dr. Darr earned both a bachelor-of-science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 and a master-of-science degree in psychology in 1988 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also earned a master-of-science degree in Organizational Behavior in May 1991 and a doctor of philosophy degree in Industrial Administration (Organizational Behavior and Theory), in May 1994 from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied under Nobel Prize Winner and noted organizational theorist Herbert Simon.
